Biography:

Renee Hykel supports the work of all of Duffy + Partners’ attorneys in their preparation of cases for trial, including matters involving medical malpractice, birth injury and products liability.

Her case experience prior to joining the firm includes work in immigration and citizenship (including serving as co-counsel for an immigration matter before the Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit), worker's compensation, employment disputes, tax law, copyright matters and health care law.

In addition to her legal experience, Renee brings the tenacity and work ethic of a world-class athlete to the firm. During her law school career, Renee was a member of the United States Rowing Team from 2003 to 2008 and competed in the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing, China as part of the team. Renee also competed in various FISA World Championship and World Cup events in Italy, Germany, Great Britain, Switzerland, Canada, Poland, Spain, Japan and Taiwan. For these achievements, she has been the subject of countless stories in the media, and was awarded a Certificate of Congressional Recognition by Congressman Joe Sestak in October of 2008. She has put this valuable experience to work for young athletes across the region, through coaching, speaking and volunteering at a number of schools and community events.
