Philadelphia Scaffold Collapse
News reports today indicate that two workers have been sent to the hospital after a Philadelphia scaffolding collapse.
The reports indicated that a line supporting part of the scaffold, which was hanging off of the side of the building and suspended 25-30 feet from an adjacent roof, snapped, caused the structure to buckle.
Just last month, we shared a detailed report on scaffold safety, citing that there are a reported 4,500 injuries from scaffold-related accidents each year. We’ve also stayed on top of legislation and issues related to work accidents, such as the proposed Scaffold Safety Law in New York in 2015.blog comments powered by Disqus
