Magee Rehab Event Naming Tom Duffy "Community Champion" Draws Sports Celebs, Record Crowd
Philadelphia Lawyers Ken Fulginiti and Tom Duffy of Duffy + Partners and former Philadelphia Eagle Mike Mamula enjoy the 9th Annual Magee Rehabilitation Hospital "2009 Night of Champions." Drawing a record attendance of close to 400, the event drew such Philly sports celebrities as Andy Reid, Jon Runyan, Vince Papale, Howard Eskin, Adam Taliaferro, Joe Conklin and Raheem Brock. The event, at which Tom Duffy was named a "Champion in this Community" for his volunteer work with Magee, raised well over $172,000 to benefit Magee's wheelchair sports league, which helps former Magee patients and individuals with disabilities in the community improve the quality of their lives through physical activity in such sports as basketball, rugby, tennis, and soccer.
