Drinkmate 1-Liter Carbonation Bottles

The bottles can explode when in use, which poses serious laceration, hearing and impact hazards to anyone nearby. There have been 8 reports of the bottles exploding, including 4 reports of lacerations, impact injuries, and hearing damage. Consumers should immediately stop using the bottles and contact the company for a free replacement. The bottles will need to be marked as recalled and safely disposed.

Empower Brands Remington Hair Dryers

The hair dryers are missing an immersion protection device that guards against risk of death or serious injury from electrocution if the appliance falls into water while plugged in. Consumers should immediately stop using the dryers and contact the company for a full refund. The company is requiring photo proof of the hair dryer’s power cord cut in half.

Units affected: 56,300

ESR HaloLock Wireless Power Banks

The power banks run on lithium-ion batteries which can ignite if overheated. This poses fire and burn risks. There have been 9 reports of the batteries catching fire and exploding, causing about $20,000 in property damage. Consumers should immediately stop using the power banks and contact the company for proper disposal instructions so they may receive a full refund.

Fieldsheer Apparel Technologies Heated Socks

If worn during high-intensity activities, the socks can cause pain, discomfort, burns and blisters. This is a result of excessive friction, moisture and pressure combined with the heat. Consumers should immediately stop wearing the socks and contact the company for a full refund or a replacement of equal value. Consumers should also safely dispose of the socks’ lithium-ion battery packs.

Firefly Fuel Safe & Green 32 oz. Fuel Bottles

The fuel bottles contain hydrocarbons, which pose a deadly poisoning hazard to young children, including chemical pneumonia and pulmonary damage. As such, they must be in child-resistant packaging. The nozzle applicator is not child-resistant, and the torch fuel is incorrectly labeled as non-toxic. Consumers should remove the nozzle applicator and replace it with the child-resistant closure that came with the original packaging. The company is offering a free replacement child-resistant lid if consumers no longer have it, and a free corrected label.

Petmate Pet Zone Pet Toys

The LED-illuminated plastic sphere can break on impact, releasing the button cell or coin batteries used to power these toys. This poses a risk to young children who may ingest them, and subsequently suffer internal chemical burns, other serious injuries, and even death. Consumers should immediately stop using the pet toys, dispose of the batteries in compliance with local hazardous waste procedures, and contact the company for a full refund.

Sefralls Minoxidil Hair Generation Serum

The serum contains minoxidil, which can pose a risk of serious injury or death if swallowed by young children. As such, it should be in child-resistant packaging. Consumers should secure the bottles out of sight of children and contact the company for safe disposal instructions. The company is offering a free replacement with photo proof of the bottles with contents poured in the trash.

Werner Multi-Max Pro Multi-Purpose Ladders

The ladder has a locking mechanism that can jam. If this happens, it poses a fall hazard. There have been 18 reports of falls, including 14 reports of bruising, lacerations, head injuries and/or fractures to the wrist, legs, and ribs. Consumers should immediately stop using the ladders and contact the company for instructions on safe disposal. The company is offering a full refund.

Wolfgang Puck Petite Tea Kettles

The infuser basket lid is loose, and as such, can fall off during use. This potentially poses a burn hazard. There have been 10 incidents, including 5 that resulted in burn or scalding injuries. Consumers should immediately stop using the kettle and contact Synergy Housewares for a free replacement lid.
