Apollo America Combination Smoke and Carbon Monoxide Detectors
These detectors could fail to alert you of smoke or carbon monoxide due to an internal malfunction. Consumers should contact Vivint, the company that sold these, for a free replacement. Once received, the company has specific instructions on how to label and dispose of the defective detectors.

Argo Superior Group Oliver & Smith Mattresses

AstroAI Minifridges
The electrical switch on the minifridge can short circuit, presenting a risk of fire and burns. There have been at least 70 reports of the minifridges burning, smoking, melting or catching fire. Two fires resulted in $360,000+ of property damage. The company is offering a free replacement for consumers who follow the labeling and disposal instructions.

Bell Sports Bicycle Helmets
The helmets fail to comply with the impact requirements of the Consumer Product Safety Commission and therefore pose a risk of head injury. The company is offering a full refund, with photo proof that the helmet’s straps have been cut.

Bugaboo North America Giraffe High Chairs
If the screws are not properly tightened during assembly, the legs from the chair can detach from the frame. This poses a fall hazard and risk of serious injury. There have been 22 reports of the legs detaching, resulting in 13 injuries. Consumers should immediately stop using the chairs and contact the company for a free repair kit.

Coleman Converta Camping Cots and Suspension Stretchers
The folding mechanism for the camping cots and camping suspension stretchers can pinch fingers, posing a risk of laceration and even amputation. There have been seven reports of the mechanism pinching fingers, including two reports of fractures. Direct Scaffold Supply Casters for Baker Scaffolding

Midea U and U+ Window Air Conditions
The water in the air conditioners can pool rather than drain quickly enough. This poses a risk of mold growth, which can cause respiratory issues. The hedge trimmer blade can turn on without engaging the safety control, which poses a danger of laceration. There have been 27 reports of the blade activating, including 16 reports of laceration injuries—some minor and some severe. Consumers should immediately stop using the trimmer and return it for a free replacement.

The accelerator pedal can remain engaged even when the driver stops pressing down, posing a crash hazard.
