Duffy Shares Trial Experience at Young Lawyers Academy

(Philadelphia) – Tom Duffy, founder of The Duffy Firm, was a featured presenter at the Philadelphia Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Trial Academy, held August 18–22, 2025.
The week-long program provided intensive training for attorneys with limited courtroom experience. Hosted at Drexel University’s Kline Institute of Trial Advocacy and in Philadelphia courtrooms, the academy combined classroom instruction with mock trials presided over by local judges.
Duffy presented on the art of closing arguments, guiding participants on how to transform evidence into a persuasive narrative. He emphasized the importance of creating clear themes, building credibility, and forging authentic connections with jurors and judges. His session highlighted practical strategies for organizing evidence and law into a compelling closing that resonates with the court.
