Breaking: Little League World Series Bans Bunk Beds

(Philadelphia) Little League International has announced that it has removed all bunk beds for teams staying in the Williamsport complex for the upcoming World Series, to be held August 16-27. This announcement comes on the one-year anniversary of the accident that injured 12-year-old player Easton Oliverson.
Ken Fulginiti of Duffy + Fulginiti represents the Oliverson family in a lawsuit against the league.
“Unfortunately, sometimes it takes a tragedy to trigger change,” said Fulginiti. “Duffy + Fulginiti is proud to be part of Team Oliverson in their fight for justice and to ensure bunk bed safety after Easton’s horrible accident.”
An award-winning attorney, Fulginiti is included annually in the list of Pennsylvania Super Lawyers, has been given the highest possible ranking by Martindale-Hubbell, an attorney ratings service that evaluates lawyers based on reviews by their peers in the industry, and in 2022 was named the “Lawyer of the Year” for Plaintiffs Personal Injury Litigation in Philadelphia by The Best Lawyers in America.
In 2023, Duffy + Fulginiti marks 35 years of assisting the families of the catastrophically injured in Philadelphia. Learn more at duffyfirm.com.
