Sarah Filippi Dooley Co-Author of PAJ Handbook

(Philadelphia) – Attorney Sarah Filippi Dooley of Duffy + Fulginiti has contributed to the just-released “New Lawyer Handbook,” published by the Pennsylvania Association for Justice (PAJ).

The handbook, authored by a select group of PAJ members, offers tips and viewpoints for newly admitted attorneys to help them become successful trial lawyers. Chapters cover such areas as work/home life balance, mistakes to avoid, and practice-specific advice in Workers’ Compensation and Personal Injury work.

Dooley’s chapter, “What to Expect as a New Associate,” offers insight from her own experience on working in a small law firm: while the intensity of work and pressure may be greater, the collaborative nature of such a core group can be beneficial. She also offered specific examples of how young attorneys can contribute to trial preparation. Click here to read the handbook.

The PAJ was founded in 1968 to provide the tools to help plaintiff attorneys better represent their clients. The organization also advocates for the integrity of a robust civil justice system.
