(Philadelphia, PA) – At a recent Luncheon Lecture of the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association, the organization formally elected its officers and directors for the coming year, which included Tom Duffy of Duffy + Partners being named the group’s Vice President for 2010-2011.

The PTLA, in existence for over 45 years, is the oldest trial lawyer organization in Pennsylvania. Accredited as a provider by the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania Continuing Legal Education Board, PTLA sponsors an outstanding Luncheon Lecture Series, as well as the numerous seminars of interest to trial attorneys.

Duffy founded the firm that bears his name almost a quarter of a century ago, when he left a promising career at a large Philadelphia firm to establish his own practice, a practice that has developed into a very experienced and respected group of partners and staff with one singular focus—helping individuals and families who are the victims of catastrophic injury. Over the years he and his partners have secured verdicts and settlements for his clients well in the hundreds of millions of dollars.
